The Orange Clove bar is a warm, inviting scent, a delightful blend that combines the zesty brightness of fresh oranges with the comforting spice of clove.

Ingredients
- 45 oz orange juice
- 20 oz lye
- 67 oz olive oil
- 36 oz coconut oil
- 13 oz sunflower oil
- 20 oz tallow
- 4 oz jojoba oil
- 1 cup ground dried oranges
- 1 tablespoon ground cloves
- 1 oz citrus essential oil or 1/4 oz clove oil

Instructions
**All soap recipes are listed by weight
- Freeze the orange juice in ice cube trays
- I like to heat my oils over my woodstove but you could use a cookstove on low heat or a crockpot to melt and combine the oils. Combine all oils except the essential oil and 2 oz of jojoba oil
- Remove from heat and let cool while preparing lye mixture
- Use an immersion blender to crush the orange juice ice cubes until slushy
- Next add the lye to the frozen orange juice little by little while gently stirring. You should do this in a WELL VENTILATED area and wear protective SAFETY GLASSES and GLOVES! Always add the lye to the orange juice. If you add the orange juice to the lye it can explode and cause burns. Keep vinegar on hand to rinse your skin immediately in case of lye burns.
- Once the lye has dissolved, add this mixture to the oils.
- Mix with an immersion blender until it comes to trace.
- Combine the essential oil and 2 oz of jojoba oil and quickly add to mixture along with the ground dried oranges and cloves
- Pour into molds and keep at room temperature for 48 hours.
- Remove from molds and cut the bars to size.
- Let the bars cure for a minimum of 6 weeks before using.
