Ingredients
- 1 cup of butter
- 1 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup raisins






Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350o
- Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs
- In a separate bowl sift together flour, oatmeal, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and nutmeg
- Add flour mixture to egg mixture alternating with the milk. Stir only until combined
- Add vanilla and raisins. Stir only until combined
- Form dough into balls, 2 tablespoons at a time. Place balls of dough on buttered cookie sheet
- Bake 10-15 minutes, until slightly browning on edges
**Optional: Add a small handful of chocolate chips when adding the raisins for a little extra treat
