Ingredients
- 1 wheel of brie cheese
- 6 slices of prosciutto
- 1 sheet of puff pastry (find my puffed pastry recipe HERE)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves
- Balsamic glaze (for drizzling)
- Flour (for dusting)
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface and cut it into squares large enough to wrap around the brie.
3. Place a slice of prosciutto on each square, followed by a piece of brie and a basil leaf.
4. Fold the corners of the pastry over the brie and prosciutto, sealing them completely.
5. Brush the outside of each wrap with the beaten egg for a golden finish.
6. Place the wraps on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed.
