Ingredients
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled
- 2 teaspoons dill seeds or 2 tablespoons fresh dill
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions
1. Sterilize your canning jars and lids by boiling them in water for 10 minutes.
2. In a saucepan, combine the vinegar, water, and salt; bring to a boil, stirring until the salt dissolves.
3. Pack the green beans into the sterilized jars, standing them upright.
4. Add 1 clove of garlic, dill, and a pinch of red pepper flakes to each jar.
5. Pour the hot brine over the beans, ensuring they are fully submerged, leaving about 1/2 inch of headspace.
6. Wipe the rims of the jars with a clean cloth and seal with the lids.
