Ingredients:
- 12 large clams (such as littlenecks or cherrystones), scrubbed and opened
- * 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
- * 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- * 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- * 2 cloves garlic, minced
- * 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- * 1/4 cup celery, finely chopped
- * 1/4 cup red bell pepper, finely chopped
- * 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- * 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- * 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- * 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- * Salt, to taste
- * Lemon wedges (for serving)

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the chopped onion, celery, and red bell pepper, and sauté for about 5 minutes, or until the vegetables are softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
3. In a large mixing bowl, combine the sautéed vegetables, Italian-style breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, Worcestershire sauce, dried oregano, black pepper, and salt. Mix well until combined.
4. Place the opened clams on a baking sheet, keeping them in their shells. Spoon the breadcrumb mixture generously over each clam, pressing it down slightly to adhere.
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crispy.
6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
7. Serve the stuffed clams warm with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the top.
