Salsa Verde

This vibrant and tangy salsa is a perfect accompaniment for tacos, grilled meats, or simply with tortilla chips. Fresh herbs and zesty flavors make it a refreshing addition to any meal.

Ingredients
• 1 pound tomatillos, husked and rinsed
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 2 cloves garlic, minced
• 1 jalapeño, seeded and chopped
• 1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
• Juice of 1 lime
• Salt to taste

Instructions
1. Preheat your broiler.
2. Place the tomatillos on a baking sheet and broil for about 5 to 7 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are charred and soft.
3. Allow the tomatillos to cool slightly, then transfer them to a blender along with the onion, garlic, jalapeño, cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
4. Blend until smooth, adjusting the seasoning as needed.
5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 3 days to allow the flavors to meld.
