Marinated Skirt Steak

This skirt steak is marinated in a flavorful blend of herbs and spices, resulting in a tender and juicy cut of meat that’s perfect for grilling. Serve it sliced with your favorite sides or in tacos.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds skirt steak
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, lime juice, minced garlic, honey, cumin, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt.
2. Place the skirt steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish, ensuring the steak is well coated in the marinade.
3. Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (up to overnight for more flavor).
4. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
5. Remove the skirt steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
6. Grill the steak for about 3-5 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.
7. Once cooked, let the steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing it against the grain into thin strips.
8. Serve with your choice of sides, tortillas, or in tacos. Enjoy!
