This traditional Mexican dish features marinated and grilled flank steak, which is flavorful and tender. Serve it with warm tortillas, guacamole, and your favorite toppings for a delicious meal.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds flank steak
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
- Flour or corn tortillas (for serving)

Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
2. Place the flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (up to overnight for more flavor).
3. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
4. Remove the flank steak from the marinade and discard the marinade.
5. Grill the steak for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is around 130°F or 54°C).
6. Once cooked, let the steak rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing it against the grain into thin strips.
7. Serve the carne asada with warm tortillas and garnish with chopped cilantro. Enjoy!
