This classic dish features tender strips of beef simmered in a rich and creamy mushroom sauce. Served over egg noodles or rice, it’s a comforting meal perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients
- 1 pound beef sirloin, sliced into thin strips
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth (find my broth recipes HERE and HERE)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 cup sour cream
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 ounces egg noodles, cooked according to package instructions






Instructions
1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat and add the sliced beef.
2. Cook until browned on all sides, then remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
4. Add the mushrooms and cook until they are tender.
5. Stir in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
6. Return the beef to the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
7. Reduce the heat to low and stir in the sour cream, mixing until well combined.
8. Season with salt and pepper to taste and serve over cooked egg noodles.
