These flavorful beef satay skewers are marinated and grilled to perfection, served with a rich and creamy peanut sauce. They make for a delicious appetizer or main dish.

Ingredients
For the Beef Satay:
- 1.5 pounds beef sirloin or flank steak, cut into thin strips
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)
For the Peanut Sauce:
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Water (to thin, as needed)

Instructions
1. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, minced garlic, ground ginger, and lime juice to make the marinade.
2. Add the beef strips to the marinade and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour (up to overnight for more flavor).
3. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
4. Thread the marinated beef strips onto the skewers.
5. Grill the skewers for about 3-5 minutes on each side, or until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
6. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over low heat, combine the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Stir until smooth and warm, adding water as needed to reach your desired consistency.
7. Remove the beef satay from the grill and serve with the peanut sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
