Perfect for self-care or as thoughtful gifts, they bring a touch of spa-like indulgence right to your home!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup baking soda
- 1/2 cup citric acid
- 1/2 cup Epsom salt
- 1/2 cup sea salt
- 2 1/2 tablespoons oil (coconut, olive, or almond oil)
- 1 teaspoon essential oils (lavender, eucalyptus, or your preferred scent)
- 1 teaspoon water (or as needed)
- Optional: food coloring or natural colorants
- Optional: dried flowers, herbs, or glitter for decoration
Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the baking soda, citric acid, Epsom salt, and sea salt. Mix well to ensure there are no clumps.
2. In a separate small bowl, combine the oil, essential oils, and food coloring (if using). Mix until well combined.
3. Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, a few drops at a time, while continuously stirring. The mixture should hold together when squeezed but not be too wet. If it’s too dry, add a tiny bit of water, one teaspoon at a time.
4. Once the mixture reaches the right consistency, pack it tightly into bath bomb molds. Press down firmly to ensure they hold their shape.
5. Allow the bath bombs to dry for at least 24 hours. If using silicone molds, pop them out after a few hours to dry on a towel.
6. Store the dried bath bombs in an airtight container until you’re ready to use them.
7. When you’re ready for a relaxing bath, drop a bath bomb into warm water and enjoy the fizzing, fragrant experience that will leave your skin feeling soft and rejuvenated!
