Broccoli Salad

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped

  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds or chopped walnuts
  • 1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded (optional)

For the Dressing:

  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the fresh broccoli florets, red onion, grated carrots, dried cranberries, sunflower seeds or walnuts, and cheddar cheese (if using).
2. In a separate small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, honey or maple syrup, salt, and pepper until smooth and well combined.
