Sweet and Spicy Meat Sticks

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef or turkey
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (95°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground meat with brown sugar, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper
3. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated
4. Using your hands, shape the mixture into small sticks or logs and place them on the prepared baking sheet
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 4-6 hours, until the meat sticks are firm and have dried out
6. Allow to cool before serving or storing in an airtight container
