Spiced Nuts
These Spiced Nuts are a delightful mix of savory and slightly sweet flavors, perfect for parties or as a satisfying snack anytime. Easy to prepare, they can be customized with your favorite nuts and spices for a personal touch.
Ingredients
• 2 cups mixed nuts (such as almonds, cashews, and pecans)
• 1 tablespoon olive oil
• 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
• 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
• 1 teaspoon garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon maple syrup or honey
• Salt to taste
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C)
2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts with olive oil, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, maple syrup or honey, and salt
3. Toss until the nuts are evenly coated with the spice mixture
4. Spread the nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper
5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring halfway through, until golden and fragrant
6. Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving
