Deviled Eggs

These classic deviled eggs are a timeless appetizer that combines creamy yolks with zesty seasonings for a burst of flavor in every bite. Perfect for gatherings or as a simple snack, they are easy to make and always a crowd-pleaser.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish
  • Fresh chives or parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions
1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with water. Bring the water to a boil, then cover the pot and remove it from heat, letting the eggs sit for 12 minutes.
2. After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool for about 5 minutes. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
3. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, and pepper, then mash until smooth and creamy.
4. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg whites.
5. Sprinkle with paprika and garnish with fresh chives or parsley if desired before serving.
