Corn Tortillas

These Corn Tortillas are a staple in many cuisines, offering a rich flavor and texture that pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes. Perfect for tacos, enchiladas, or simply as a side, they are easy to make and can elevate any meal.

Ingredients
• 2 cups masa harina
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 1/4 cups warm water

Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, combine the masa harina and salt
2. Gradually add the warm water, stirring until a dough forms
3. Knead the dough for a minute or two until smooth, then cover it with a damp cloth to prevent drying
4. Divide the dough into 10-12 equal portions and roll each into a ball
5. Preheat a skillet or comal over medium-high heat
6. Place a ball of dough between two pieces of parchment paper and flatten it using a tortilla press or rolling pin to about 1/8-inch thickness
7. Cook the tortilla in the hot skillet for about 30-45 seconds on each side, until lightly browned and cooked through
8. Remove from the skillet and keep warm in a towel while you repeat with the remaining dough balls
