This beef and broccoli dish is a classic favorite that combines tender strips of beef with crisp broccoli, all tossed in a flavorful light soy sauce. Served over wholesome brown rice, it offers a satisfying and nutritious meal that’s perfect for any night of the week.

Ingredients
- 1 lb beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- Cooked brown rice for serving

Instructions
1. In a bowl, combine the sliced beef with the light soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and cornstarch. Mix well and let it marinate for about 15 minutes.
2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until browned and cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the remaining tablespoon of oil along with the minced garlic and ginger. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
4. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for about 4-5 minutes, or until they are bright green and tender-crisp.
5. Return the cooked beef to the skillet and stir to combine with the broccoli, cooking for an additional minute.
6. Serve the beef and broccoli over cooked brown rice.
