Ingredients
- 1 lb haddock
- 1/2 lb salmon
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 lb scallops
- 1 pint cream
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 stalk celery
- 1 medium onion
- 3 medium potatoes, cubed
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 quart chicken broth (find my broth recipes HERE and HERE)
- 3 tablespoons flour
Instructions
- Sauté celery and onions briefly in butter
- Add potatoes, cut up haddock and salmon, and chicken broth
- Simmer 20 minutes
- Add shrimp and scallops
- Simmer 10 minutes
- Add evaporated milk and most of the cream
- Use the remaining cream to mix with the flour
- Add the flour mixture, salt and pepper.
- Simmer until it thickens. Do not boil
