Ingredients
- 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
- 1/2 cup pesto
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- Salt
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
3. Spread the pesto evenly over half the puff pastry.
4. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the pesto.
5. Fold the other half over the top. Cut the pastry into strips about one inch wide.
6. Twist each strip several times and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
7. Brush the twists with the beaten egg and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
8. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
