Pan-Seared Salmon with Garlic Butter

Ingredients:

  • 4 salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions:
1. Season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper on both sides.
2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
3. Once the oil is hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
4. Carefully flip the salmon and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
5. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the butter and minced garlic to the skillet.
6. Once the butter has melted, spoon the garlic butter over the salmon fillets and squeeze the lemon juice on top.
7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
